Geopelia striata, umumnya dikenal sebagai perkutut Jawa, adalah spesies merpati yang termasuk dalam famili Columbidae. Dia didistribusikan secara luas di seluruh Asia Tenggara dan khususnya terkenal di Indonesia. Perkutut Jawa adalah merpati kecil dengan pola garis-garis hitam dan putih yang khas di leher dan dada atasnya, oleh karena itu dinamai “zebra dove” dalam bahasa Inggris.
