BELUT MOA LUMPUR: BELUT PREDATOR PENGHUNI AIR TAWARÂ
Belut ini termasuk keluarga belut moray. Tetapi belut moa ini juga bisa bertahan hidup di habitat air tawar seperti sungai dan muara. Mereka datang ke habitat air tawar untuk berkembang biak dan bertelur. Sama seperti belut moray lain, mereka merupakan belut predator yang memiliki gigi tajam. Mereka memakan ikan kecil dan krustasea dengan cara bersembunyi di balik batu atau karang dan menyergap mangsanya ketika sudah dekat.
INDIAN MUD MORAY EEL: FRESHWATER PREDATORY EEL
This eel is also the moray eel family. But indian mud moray eels can survive in freshwater habitats like rivers and estuaries. They come to freshwater habitats to breed and lay their eggs. Just like other morays, they are predatory eels that have sharp teeth. They eat small fishes and crustaceans by hiding behind rocks or reefs and ambush their prey if they got close.
